Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea...

The sweet little cardinal egg painting.

I have another painting I did yesterday, but I have to re-take the photo because it's blurry.

*The Babies have hatched, the babies have hatched!!! Daddy cardinal was flying around like a spaz and I thought wtf? And then I knew...he's acting like all dads do when the babes are born. He was so happy and making sure no one was messing with his kids while mom was taking a well earned break. God bless those dear birds.

Love the painting. I have cardinals in my back yard from time to time, but they don't live there. They're just passing through!

jc-well it's a first for me. The year before we had a skunk curl up and die in our peonies. Imagine how I felt then.

stepping.thanks woman! You know when I was a young lass, yellow was my favorite color-the brighter the better. We now have a yellow house.

The song of the cardinal is as alluring to me as the song of the sirens! So when I look at your painting, I hear the babies chirping in my head.

My favorite view out my back window is a red cardinal sitting on the dark green fir tree which is laced with fresh white snow.

Colors, how can you ever pick one as a favorite? I often do, but I'm lying as I love them all.
