PAINTERGIRL -- these have got to be some of my most favourite paintings of yours [I am assuming you've painted them?!] that I have seen thus far! :-D
I am completely in love with them. I would actually love to have those as wallpaper in my flat or something like that....or just the three paintings on their own on a wall with nothing else. They are very beautiful -- and I adore the colours. So simple.

Hey ya Lilly-so nice to hear form you. I know you have been busy.

I'm so glad you like them. Contrary to my nickname paintergirl, I draw more than I paint. The top one is a drawing-called cherry blossom dream that I am donating to a fundraiser. The other 2 are straight from my sketchbook. It's so nice to have feedback. I'll post a painting I just did too.

I love them too they all have a sense of wonderment about them and a controlled glee. How'd you do that?

Of course, it might be just my interpretation...;-)

Oh that's good Mary-can I use that in a description of my art. Wonderment and controlled glee. Thank you Mary!

It's what I think of when I see your work...and I think that's what causes the creative "tension" I feel from your art.

You can use any of my words at your own risk ;-)

I adore the third one and could just see it stitched into a pristine white pillow cover or as lilly said, made into a wallpaper and filling a room.

Hey Kiki-thank you so much dear!

Rita Rita Rita-grrrreat to see you around these parts(forgive me I've been watching way too much Deadwood)

I think the stiching on the pillow is a really great idea. Oh yes and Lilly and the wallpaper. Now if I can market myself...

It weird because I posted a commentary about these with the post and I realise there is nothing there but these drawings. You guys are so nice to say these things and I have absolutely no description of what they are. The top one is a drawing I am donating to a fundraiser. That will be another post. The bottom 2 are in my notebook and are sketches for the postcard that Melvin and I are designing for this fundraiser as well.I'll post the finished products when they are complete. Thanks again!

I love that you've done a fundraiser :-D
I also love the fact that you initially refrained from adding any words to your post. Just your drawings. Makes it more interesting for viewers; we completely rely on our own senses in terms of 'interpreting' them -- not your words about your own work. Then it's very interesting to hear your descriptions. I think.
