This picture has followed
itsmelvin and I around the country and is always placed on our refrigerator. Do we relate to these individuals from La Dolce Vita? In some ways we do. We're both more like Marcello's character, and yet not so edgy. I know I have seen this when I was younger, but only parts seemed familiar. We watched it over the weekend and I'm not sure how to take it. It's so heavy and filled with sadness and anger, I'm afraid it's coming out in my dreams.

I love this picture and the mood it conveys. How cool that you two relate in such similar ways. You must have a great relationship.
crazy picture!
Lauren-the picture cracks me up and explains so much about my husband and I. The word balloons just add another humorous element that La Dolce does not have, but thank goodness we do.
vajana-I was just thinking about you...I like the pic too and wanted to share.
eVERY TIME [oops, Caps Lock was on!] I see this image here on your blog, PG, it makes me think of Roy Orbison's I Drove All Night....dunno why...
O'grady-The crazy things that you pick up on...
Lilly-I can't place that song, I'll have to locate it. The photo also reminds me of Wild at Heart.
The sweet life is such a joke on fellinni's part isn't it? This movie is nothing like the sweet life.
dolce vita is followed directly by doldrums in the dictionary. Scary. is that a coincidence Lilly?
That IS scary, PainterGirl
....coincidence....ohh...I dunno. If I say 'no' that implies that I believe in some greater scheme, does it not?
You know what, I cannot think straight just now. I just popped around the library to hand in a book and thought I'd check mail whilst here. The PC has still not been connected in our new appartment....I am so tired. Been shifting stuff non-stop since Friday....now I am going back to clean the old place and have a damn good cup of coffee!
Catch you later, sweet PainterGirl
