at the hotel yorba...

I have been trying to teach my little 4 1/2 year old how to hop scotch. Weather permitting and if we don't have some strange stagnant air warning-we're always outside. Here I am with the keds on and a dress I love.

More SPC here.

Peace and love ya'll.

I remember hopscotch being big in elementary school. Love the perspective on this shot.

I love that you wear red stripes. My favorite dress is a black and white striped one.
My children REFUSE to learn how to play hopscotch...the real way anyway...they just jump around in the boxes with two feet.

jc-I love hopscotch. I used to really love 4 square, but that wasn't until I was 10 or so.

stepping-my son hasn't figured out the stone part where you have to skip a step. He really enjoys hopping on one foot. I think I would wear more stripes if I found them.

vedrana-thank you!!

jeremy-thank you too!!

kristen-I love those keds an now I can't find anymore.

deb r-all the things one forgets about and then a child happens. I spent hours on the sidewalk in front of my house playing. Then I got some roller skates and hopscotch was history.

...and from that angle, legs that are 4-feet long.

I LOVE watching my 4-year-old try hopscotch--when to use one foot, when to use two...

Awwww - I love hopscotch!!! I remember drawing hopscotch with a friend in kindergarten, only to find out we had drawn our hopscotch grid with a chunk of some chemical fertilizer or something. ACK!

I heart the dress too.
