So to celebrate these lovely days and feeling better. I decided to take the wee man and Emily to a place I have always wanted to visit. It's called Croton Point and sticks far out into the Hudson. Every time we take the train into the city, I see it and look at it longingly. I have seen people with their dogs on the hills, and have thought "That could be me".
This is facing south towards NYC.
Finally I was the one on the hill, not the fool on the hill (at least I don't think so).It was crazy windy, and the Hudson was choppy but it was a beautiful day.
We hiked and hiked and hiked some more until my son said, "This is wearing me out" and finally getting to the parking lot "where is our car?"
I wish every day could be a Croton Point day.
Don't forget, if you haven't answered the 3 questions, head on over to painter girl asks and join the fun.

I used to love that Big Country song.
Looks like a lovely day out at the point!
That does look like a lovely place to spend a day.
I managed to spend quite a bit of time outdoors yesterday which was wonderful, even on a friend's deck minus the gorgeous scenery.
I forgot to say how cool paintergirl asks is. It's like a survey course in art minus the tests, and with the added treat of knowing who picked the painting and why.
I'M STILL THINKING!!!
That looks amazing.
Damn - if it's not Noggin knocking out the internet, it's a power surge. I'm sure this comment won't go through so why am I still typing. I guess I'm the fool on the internet today.
I love that part of NY. Looks like a beautiful day.
jc-I kept singing this song when I was here, so I thought it fit.
Mary-This weather is unbelievably nice. I'm waiting for the big pollen bomb to drop, then I'll be sequestered inside, again.
I'm so happy you like paintergirl asks. Art should unite. And everyone has a favorite artist. I love hearing who picks what.
holli-I know you have a lot on your brain. Just chill over the weekend, and close your eyes and it will come to you. Or you'll see the Pink Floyd Pig.
Kristen-I will miss this when we move, but we'll find some other spots.
