The sun is up...the sky is blue...

In memory of my sweet sister Sue
1954-2006

She was from the orange blossoms, mango trees, and birds of paradise.

When she was 4 she had a duck named Squeaky.

She was very proud of her Beatles board game.

Sue made a monolith cake for her humanities class.

In college she waded through chest high water in the Everglades collecting specimens.

She was a daughter, a wife, a mother, and she was my sister, and I miss her.

"Comedy shows are ok, but it's my sisters who can really make me laugh."

I am so sorry about your great loss, PainterGirl.

May your beloved sister rest in peace and all the wonderful memories you have of her and all the things you did together live on forever.

That is a beautiful photo.

I wish there was something I could say or do that would make things better. But there isn't.....

Thinking of you and your family. Be well.

And thanks to everyone for your support!

Dear PainterGirl, we have been thinking of you so often. Lilly, you're right, that's a beautiful photo. Losing someone we shared our childhoods with must be one of the hardest things to go through. For what it's worth, we are here when you need us... Big hugs across the ocean.

Thank you so much Rose-it means so much to me. You never expect you siblings to die, we prepare for our parents as we all get older, but one never knows.

I'm in a sort of bad and angry place. About a number of things and I have to work through them one by one. I am very hateful of the place where we live. No one has any kind of community pride. No helpfulness. Does this not exist anymore. Please tell me it does.

I'm really sorry PG about your sister. I love your words and the photo of her that you shared. I can't even imagine what you're feeling, your in my thoughts.

Come move to my town. There's community and wonderful, warm people that I've met here. I've made some really nice friends and we're a whole lot closer to the city. But it's NJ. (=

I feel this incredibly deep feeling of sadness and heartache for you pg, and I hate that just text on computer screen is all I can do.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do, okay sugar?

Thank you guys for being there for me. It is still so hard. For some reason when I'm driving is when I get upset and think about Sue.

Acu-I don't think we could afford your lovely neighborhood. I bet it is idealistic but I'm afraid the tri state is not great for us. We are still looking...for the perfect place.

All I want is a nice town, with great schools and the mayor will hold the door open for you.(what is it with me and the door? and yes now it was the mayor) oh and I want us to live in a arts and craft style house. Is this too much?

Rita-you are so very swet and dear, and I can sense your emotion!

Alan-Thank you so very much, you guys are very nice to me.
