What about you??

I just drank a pint of flat tonic because I refuse to waste anything. Happy to know I won't get malaria anytime soon. Whenever I have tonic I think of "A Town Like Alice."

Happy De-Lurking Week!

Wanted to de-lurk and say hello.

Hello!

Hmm, I'm not sure what to make of the fact I'm the only one who's filled out your form.

I'll join you later, David. I need more time in front of the pc before I fill it in. Alan's got an exam paper to do at present, so I can't spend a lot of time on the pc...I'll be back...

[Didn't mean to sound like Arnie - sorry]

It's a fun list and no one wants to play except David. I am feeling a bit unloved in blogworld, but that's ok, I mend quickly.

Thanks to acu for the list!

David-When are you going to finish that time machine? After the dozen or so books lurking around the house, I plan on reading Stephen Hawking's books. melvin and i went to see Aguirre with an orchestra playing, years ago it seems.

Gotham-very interesting, i never thought of the pic that way. Hmmm, I like that. I'll be over, probaly have to print it out and read it.

Lilly-
It will be fun to see your list. We have one computer too, so i know how that is.

Right then, finally -- I hope my replies have been worth the wait [though I wouldn't bet on it]:

My name: Lilly
Childhood ambition: Numerous...from hair dresser to riding school instructor.
Fondest memory: Long and happy summers at my grandparents' summer house near the beach before my parents were divorced
Soundtrack: The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Kinks, The Smiths, Joy Division
Retreat: Solitude
Wildest dream: A world in peace
Proudest moment: Finishing years of study with a '13' and a publication.
Biggest challenge: Having faith in myself and my own abilities, positive thinking [which I know would do me a world of good], trying not to stress and worry.
Alarm clock: A wee brown one from the early 80s [a b'day present from my grandparents] and an R2-D2 one. I always use both.
Perfect day: Relaxation and laughter - when all worries are miles away...
First job: Delivering papers on my bicycle
Indulgence: Coffee, red wine, tortilla chips
Last purchase: 4 green towels on offer [this morning]
Favorite movie: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly; Star Man; Get Carter [original version].
Inspiration: My parents, Alan, anyone who has managed to tackle the stressful 'reality' of the modern world we live in....
My life: is mine, and I am grateful for every single day I get.
My card is a combined Dankort/VISA

Yea-Lilly played too! here here to positive thinking. Creatives have such a hard time with that one. We all need a little positive thinking fairy to come around and tap us on the head.
Your soundtrack is a fine one. I t's so simliar to my 4 albums I couldn't live without. The Good and tha Bad huh? You are a toughie. I almost put some Chow Yun Fat movies in too, but it's so hard to narrow them down. Get Carter though-a super classic!

LOL @ "a toughie" :-D I just love the so-called spaghetti westerns and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is by far my favorite. Plus I've always had a thing for Client Eastwood!

Yes, Get Carter! Oh; damn good stuff. I remember Alan going on and on about this film and I knew for years, that I had to watch it -- finally it was on Danish telly and boy did I fall in love with it instantly!
