...I'll think I'll dye my hair blue

First off, I have to say I'm on a bit on an upswing at the moment, so we shall all take advantage of it.

Am I manic/depressive? And I would say, aren't most artists, in some way? I just read some bits about poor ole Sylvia Plath...The poor gal should never have been taking pills. Such a brilliant mind, all cluttered with medicine and family issues compounded everything for her. But that is a side note for me today...

Yesterday driving in the car I heard, in a row, Missing Persons, and Van Halen.
That got me thinking, does everyone know what David Lee Roth is up too.

He has been training to be an EMT in New York.
Could you imagine? Some guy laying on a gurney, and here is Mr. Roth trying to tend to bullet wounds and he hears, "Come on Dave, sing, 'I dig those girls...' one time for me." Apparently he wants to be certified so he can volunteer once a month. Aw...isn't he a nice guy.

Now for my other guest celebrity career move.

A couple of weeks ago, we were watching a PBS special about the Roman Empire. Did anyone else catch this?

All of these professors would come on and give their little lectures about whatever intricacies about the Romans that were being discussed. When all of a sudden, who should appear, Mr. Buckaroo Bonzai, that's Professor Bonzai to you. Yes Peter Weller is a professor of Roman and Renaissance art at Syracuse University.

I think I may have to go back to school. It would be like young Harrison Ford as the professor in Indiana Jones. I would be such a good girl and do all my homework, and answer all his questions. How about some extra credit for poor little paintergirl?

I thought David Lee Roth was going to be the morning replacement on WXRK when Howard Stern leaves....
perhaps he wants back-up just in case.

You watch much more intellectual TV than I do. (=

Mr. Roth is a Rennaissance man. He does it all!

And the documentary...husband's idea. Of course Weller made me prick up my ears.

I would probably be watching reruns of Dave Attel's Insomniac.

I'd love to go back to school. Damn, we never knew we had it so good then. I actually did a lot of post college education and have a portion of my Associates in Architecture, Fine arts and Early Childhood Education to add to my Liberal Arts cant make up my mind bachelors.

What a dork I was.

Wouldn't you just love to have this endless supply of moola, so you could take some classes here and there when you wanted. Oh what a luxury.
You really have some various interests. Pretty cool I have to say.
