Ahhh! I love them! They are my kind of photos. Don't you love the light of interior night shots without your flash? That weird red moodiness. I'm not sure if families here still decorate eggs. I think we are all very lazy and just eat lots of the chocolate variety.I made a big traditional roast dinner for my family on Sunday. It was fun. A very old-school kiwi thing to do.
rose-that red light from the lantern is so nice. One easter I would like to hand paint, just once to see what it's like. I think I have dyed eggs every year. I think I missed one year, somewhere along the way. That's sweet you made a big dinner. Old school kiwi has a nice ring to it.
Your son hates to be near eggs? I actually love eggs for some odd reason. It looks like a Japanese flick in there. I want to come over and hang. And gobble up your peeps. Those chicks on that website - I can't tell.. they just don't look like the right ones? Is it my monitor? We must be sure, Scotty! We must to be sure!
Leave it to PG to make peeps look menacing. haha!
the only thing I recognize is the PEEPS! Of course, I would recognize candy anywhere.
holliholli-he even says the smell grosses him out. josp and i both love them.japanese flick...yes, and some crazy woman will come out of the bathroom and karate chop me. that's it. see how my brain works. you'll have to fight the wee man for the peeps, he even dunks them in milk.I know, those chicks. they say chenille but the beaks look so fancy.lb-I can't help it. peeps can menacing. It's the whole rabbit thing you know. donnie...darko...donnie...darkostepping-candy. you are the counissuer. spelling off today. how did you fair with the easter bunny treats?
I used to love that Romantics song! Those photos look like they are from a David Lynch movie. Which is AWESOME!
jc-I didn't realize how much I sing that song, until the other day I heard the little man hum it. Ah Lynch...I think I have to revisit Lost Highway, didn't I just say that a couple of weeks ago?
I love LB's comment about the menacing peeps..truly all the photos are eery and go with my distaste for the holiday but of course never for the peeps. Peeps redeem the day.
mary-the peeps, you know it's a cult thing. I laughed the first time I saw a stuffed peep.
