A typical sketchbook entry.
I decided as a project for the wee man and I to do was to build a bird feeder out of an orange juice carton.
Underneath I wrote-
Things said to me today:
Follow me
I'm glad you're feeling better
Did you have to get more oil
The baron is following us
The snow is finally melting
I discovered our library has a copy of The Devil and Daniel Johnston, and I am so excited to see this. Last time I was this excited to see a movie was , Me You and Everyone We Know. I wasn't dissappointed. I know I'm going to be a little sad, but I'm looking forward to it.

Diggin the bird house. I want to put one up but I'm worried that it will draw rodents to my garage. Seeing as how I've had a couple of mice over the years I'm thinking that seed on the ground equals more mice.
I didn't see that movie but I heard it was good.
I would love to see a photo of the bird feeder (and more of your sketchbook too!), I think it would be a cool project for my sons.
We have a bird house - that's one of the few features I'll miss. It's a really cool one. Faith loves it. And it draws the birds like crazy.
I can't see anything that says Ricola without hearing that in my head really loud.
I think I caught your crud. My throat is on fire. Maybe I need some
(cupping hands) RICOLA!!!!
jc-Oh the mice and rats. Yeah, that's my hesitation too. I wanted to be able to feed the little birds when snow was on the ground. When it's spring and summer I won't feed them-they're on their own.
irene-I'll take a picture of it for you. It's really easy and your boys will love it.
holli-Ricola...I always picture the man with the big horn. Let's blow a big horn on top of a mountain in Switzerland. Yeah that's just what I feel like doing when I'm coughing. Get better, because nothing is more unmotivating then being sick. I lost like 3 weeks. Buh!
extra note-And the movie, really good. I'm not too sad. His relationship with his mom and dad makes me sad.
And the bird feeder. I got really good at throwing snowballs at the squirrels. They fear the giant snowball.
