And another thing...

My town has to have the most unfriendliest, most unhelpful people on this earth. If the town were to be taken over by vampires, I would drive a stake through everyone's hearts. If the planet were to blow up, I would not tell everyone how to hitch a ride, nor would I tell them to take a towel with them. Bah I say.

It's the holidays right? Tends to bring out the worst behavior in people. No one holds the door open for me while I'm pushing a stroller. I'm dropping boxes in the road. No help. Disgusted. Every man for himself. I was buying wine, and this woman kept getting in front of me, on purpose. I was going to buy all the good wine you know.

Driving is even worse. People are cutting each other off, maybe they have started drinking early. Maybe that's not a bad idea, but I think I'll just stay home.

And we're living in a world of quicksand...

2 things to be amazed at and want to scream about


This show I saw over the weekend of Egon Schiele. Mind blowing! I kept looking around at everyone wondering why they weren't exclaiming out loud how great these paintings and drawings were. I must have looked like a crazy person muttering to myself.


As I was leaving, I was walking down the long spiral staircase in the museum and who should be passing me and going up? Yoko Ono. My mouth opened but nothing came out, I was shocked.

If I don't work fast on a painting, then it's lost. This didn't come out exactly the way I intended, but it conveys my mood. I hate the flash ricocheting off the wet paint . And don't lay into me about the Matisse palette. I like it, and it's done!

I can hear people singing...

2 things

1-I now have a new favorite ice cream-Peppermint. It must be seasonal. It really made me very happy this cold afternoon. Yes, yes it's 10 degrees outside and I'm eating ice cream. Say it, insane.

2-I have received a guilty gift. Have you ever been given a gift by someone, a peace offering of sorts and the guilty party never really acknowledges their wrong doing.

I will forgive this person but I will not expect too much. I'm just very happy I now have a new book to walk around with and flip through. It's "A Man Without A Country", the new Vonnegart book. Nicely done too.

Ok so now it's 3 things-We have just re-watched all of The Office. Why does this show make me so happy? And why have I mentioned happy in this blog about 10 times?

There you have it. Peppermint ice cream, Vonnegart, The Office, and oh wait-melvin bought me the only magazine with Viggo on the cover. I do have a lot to be happy about. Tomorrow I may dwell on what I am angry about, but let's just be thankful to have pink ice cream.
